Dear Delaware Valley HIMSS Chapter Members:

I am honored to serve as the 2023-2024 DV HIMSS Board President!  We have an exciting year ahead. One of the greatest strengths of our DV HIMSS chapter is our member community, and this year, our focus will be on you, our members.

Healthcare technology is at a pivotal stage, and we need our members’ creativity, intuition, and innovation to get us there! Our job and responsibility is to challenge how we’ve supported the healthcare ecosystem. By actively contributing and engaging in DVHIMSS chapter events and discussions, you can help us reach our goal!

Our DV HIMSS Goal

Our goal as a HIMSS chapter is to leverage technology, such as artificial intelligence, while ensuring to capture the value proposition, upholding patient safety, protecting privacy, and showing a return on investment for continuously shrinking margins. No small feat!

 

The Board’s Goal

As President for this year, I aim to provide opportunities to learn, connect, and grow as a regional chapter so we can all deliver on our goal to streamline and improve health care.

I’m excited to work with our Board of Directors this year, and I look forward to the engaging events ahead.

 

2023-2024 Events

We have planned exciting events, including the NJ-DV HIMSS Fall Conference, the Spring Symposium, and our year-end Phillies event at Citizen’s Bank Park.  The board is hard at work planning additional programs and events to connect.  We have several committees underway, and I invite you to get involved in an area that interests you! Reach out to a chair to get started.

Our Board has representation from many aspects of healthcare and includes four new board members this year.  I’m excited for a fantastic year, and I look forward to what we will learn from each other and accomplish together.
