Winter Webinar with Gina Itzikowitz

February 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

DVHIMSS invites you to a virtual Winter Webinar hosted by Greater Delaware Valley ANIA Chapter (GDV-ANIA) and New York Tri-State Chapter ANIA Chapter – focused on large-scale, real-world healthcare digitization—and what health systems can learn from transformation at the enterprise level. In Digitizing Healthcare in Africa: System-Level Transformation and Global Parallels, we’ll explore how Netcare became the first and only fully digitized private hospital group on the African continent, and what that journey demonstrates about system-wide change.

Date/Time: Wednesday, February 18, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ET

Attendees will learn:

  • How enterprise-wide digitization can improve clinical visibility and strengthen patient safety
  • Practical lessons on driving system-level transformation to support operational efficiency and performance
  • What it takes to build digital foundations for advanced analytics and AI readiness
  • Key parallels between South African and U.S. healthcare, including shared challenges (fragmentation, workforce constraints, inequity, cost pressures) and opportunities to advance health equity
