The Delaware Valley Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society is a chapter affiliate of HIMSS. HIMSS is a global, cause-based, tax-exempt 501(c)(6) non-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT). HIMSS leads efforts to optimize health engagements and care outcomes using information technology.

I am honored to serve as the 2024-2025 DV HIMSS Board President! We have an exciting year ahead. One of the greatest strengths of our DV HIMSS chapter is our member community, and this year, our focus will be on you, our members.
Healthcare technology is at a pivotal stage, and we need our members’ creativity, intuition, and innovation to get us there! Our job and responsibility is to challenge how we’ve supported the healthcare ecosystem. DV HIMSS Undergraduate Scholarship
The DV HIMSS Undergraduate Scholarship offers a $5,000 award to support students in healthcare sciences, allied health, technology, medical informatics, healthcare management, or healthcare public policy. Eligible applicants must be residents of or attending school in the Delaware Valley/Greater Philadelphia region, enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program, and at least a first-term junior in Fall 2025. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay, a letter of recommendation, and a resume/CV. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025.
