Lesia Peck, Grand View Health
Most recently, Lesia Peck oversaw the Health Information Management department for Grand View Health in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. In her role she oversaw release of information, coding, transcription, image processing, recovery audit contracting, and HIPAA Privacy to ensure patients are receiving their medical information in a timely manner and that the department is meeting the demands of the revenue cycle.
Prior to working at Grand View, Lesia oversaw the HIM department for Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. She spent a few years consulting and implementing parts of the electronic health record for 3M Health Information Systems. Lesia has sat on multiple boards including the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association Board and the Board for the University of Pittsburgh HIM undergraduate program.
Lesia has a Bachelor’s in Health Information Management from the University of Pittsburgh and Master’s in Health Informatics from Temple University. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator and holds a Project Management Professional certification. She is also certified in analytics, privacy and six sigma. She is a Fellow of the Health Information Management Association.
Lesia enjoys spending time with her two children. In her spare time she likes to run in the summers, ski in the winters and travel to interesting places year round.
Lesia is interested in giving back to her profession. Being a member of the DVHIMSS Board affords the opportunity to give back as well as continue to develop and lead in the ever growing areas of Healthcare and Information Technology.
